New Members:

New Members have several first steps after becoming a knight:

  • Ensure your information is up to date for communications. Go to Here to update your information. Once enrolled, we’ll add you to our council distribution list and you’ll start receiving the following:
    • Weekly Call to Action
    • Monthly Newsletter
    • Broadcast calls for help as needed
    • Monthly invites to member meetings where we start with dinner, a little fellowship, and then updates with discussions on our events and plans for the future.
  • As Knights we support several youth-oriented activities and events where youth are present. The Dioseses of Phoenix requires individuals interacting with youth to complete Safe Environment Training and renew it annually every July. For first time training go Here and follow the “Register for a New Account” prompts. Be sure to request the background check. After completing the training contact the council’s Safe Environment coordinator at se-coord@kofc9482.org.
  • As knights we also sponsor a significant number of meal setup, prep, serve and cleanup functions monthly and annually. The county, city and parish require those involved to maintain a food handlers license. You can take a short course to get a license at a minimal cost under $10. Go to www.azfoodhandlers.com take the course, download and retain the card. Send a copy to our Food Handler Coordinator at fh-coord@koc9482.org.
