Lenten Fish Fry Dinners

With COVID-19 safeguards still in full effect and the parish on lockdown, we have modified our yearly fish fry dinners to a new drive-thru or walk-up dinner before Stations of the Cross on Fridays during Lent. We offer all the same favorites as years past, beer battered fish, hot french fries, delicious hush puppies, and fresh coleslaw. If you prefer, you can opt for our mouth-watering good grilled cheese sandwich in place of the fish. We have switched to a donation-only model for our Lenten dinners, which has been a massive success with our monthly pancake breakfasts. Brothers and spouses made our first dinner on February 19, 2021, a huge success. Thank you to all the community members that came out to support us and donated so generously. Proceeds from this event will be used in our mission to help our St Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church Community.

Stations Of The Cross

“The Cross of Christ contains all the love of God; there we find his immeasurable mercy. This is a love in which we can place all our trust, in which we can believe…. let us entrust ourselves to Jesus, let us give ourselves over to him, because he never disappoints anyone! Only in Christ crucified and risen can we find salvation and redemption.” —Pope Francis Address, World Youth Day, Way of the Cross, July 26, 2013. Our Knights led the Stations of the Cross on February 19, 2021. Council members read the stations while members of our 4th Degree Honor Guard escorted Father Teilo through the stations’ path. It’s always a fantastic display of faith when the Knights of Columbus led our community in prayer.
